For our location in Dubai we are looking for a

Stock Feeding Manager (m/f) Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Manages the aspects of the inventory management for stock feeding within RME , internal supply/ evacuation needs of the Sub Regions/ Areas through the weekly discussion with Areas, sales, operations, RME allocation and adhering to the HL processes
  • Regularly analyses statistical data of equipment flow, surplus and deficit areas and to support the business/ decision making after discussing with Equipment team and having it executed by QSC.
  • Ensures that no over steering and makes regular update to equipment team on surplus buildup and actions to be taken.
  • Provide reporting and analysis to the Equipment team, Areas , QSC etc as required
  • Monitors an analyzes inventory level development on CSA and FIS and challenges Local offices the requirement to supply.
  • Plans and organizes empty transports based on forecasted needed from surplus to deficit areas.
  • Consolidates and reviews situation of overdue equipment with the SubRegion/ Areas
  • Consolidates and reviews fleet reduction program with the SubRegions/ Areas
  • Regular space requirement update on A2040 and push RME allocation for confirmation. Highlight to Senior manager if external space is required.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration
  • Ideally 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Fluent in English

Technical Skills

Knowledge of the shipping industry and terminal operations
Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements for region middle east

Competencies

  • Learns quickly when faced with new problems, analyzing both successes and failures for clues to improvement
  • Maintains two-way dialogue with others on work and results
  • Drive for results – can be counted on to meet/exceed goals consistently
  • Ability to convey information effectively and convincingly
