JOB ACTIVITIES
- Understand the QHSE & Energy Management procedures and execute the various positions in production as required.
- Report any incident / hazard to Blending Foreman/Supervisor/Executive.
- Receptive to new trainings issues and be a proactive member to participate in tool kit meetings for QHSE & Energy Management improvements.
- Ensure zero quality or safety incidents occur due to negligence, carelessness, or overconfidence.
- Always ensure vigilance and care during the operation time so that operation is error proof.
- Key responsibility of this position – Follow and ensure correct dipping of tanks as per the guidelines, charging of additives and transfer of products on time and control potential losses, Follow and Ensure flushing guidelines and batch cycle times are well managed.
- Take responsibility of the filling line as an when required , in terms of managing the changeover process controlling and directing the people in the designated teams, machine changeover happens technically well and in time. Be responsible to Foreman for productivity of the operation and able to explain the outcomes logically.
- Monitor work area for potential losses like air leaks, Joints leaks, thermic heater temperature settings, transfer & flushing losses.
- Be able to do some small maintenance in LEM independently using his technical competence and skills.
- Follow and ensure control & check during Ship discharge operation as per procedures & guidelines as issued.
- Ability to read, write and distinguish and compare various product / packaging requirements on line and be ready to catch any mistakes when occurred due to suppliers’ faults.
- Play a role of bulk operator when needed.
- Ability to master overall operations to ensure complete control over valves / processes being operated.
Job Related Objectives & Assignments:
- Be able to play a role of Foreman
- Ensure right Packed additives charging with respect to quality and quantity
- Adhere to loss control management process as per standard procedure
- Start up and shut down of Tank farm & utilities as per procedures & guidelines as issued.
- Responsible for blending / filling operations (Production)
- Ensure operations of the filling line are well coordinated as an when required, to lead to acceptable productivity levels.
- Maintain and improve 5S & Visual management in Blending/Filling area.
QHSE Objectives & Assignments :
- To understand and adherence to the current regulatory requirements applicable to the areas of responsibilities.
- To comply with TMME Safe Work Permit program (as per the PTW roles and responsibility assignment: process owner/ permit applicant/ issuing authority and approval authority)
- Reporting of near misses, incidents, hazards & injuries to line Manager within the time frame as required by Quality, HSE & Energy Policies and Manuals.
- Strict adherence and compliance towards Group QHSE policy with high Quality of QHSE performance and complying with affiliate’s Quality, HSE & Energy Policies, Procedures & specific rules & regulations applicable to the area of activity at all time.
- Strict adherence to QHSE requirements in his work area
- Control of quality and safety in operations as he is the first in line and exposure to QHSE can be high due to unsafe acts on quality / safety concerned.
- Ensure adherence to compliance processes and guidelines specific to position’s roles and responsibilities.
- Strict adherence and compliance towards Group HSE Charter & MAESTRO requirement and affiliate’s HSEQ Policy, Procedures & specific rules & regulations applicable to the area of activity at all time.
- Demonstrates exemplary conduct, rigor, vigilance, and professionalism regarding HSE in all their activities

Candidate profile
Qualifications / experience required
Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of Packaging/ process/ machine/ blending unit.
- Basic knowledge of lubricant.
- Knowledge on safety procedures.
Skills:
Perform as a Team PlayerLanguage Proficiency skills – English (Reading & Writing) and Hindi (as an added language preferred)
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in Lubricant blending unit / process / packaging / machine operations in Similar industry or working experience in any manufacturing unit.
- Reasonable understanding on Safety, ISO 9001 (Quality) & ISO 14001 (Environmental) Management systems & ISO 5001 (Energy) management system.
