MAIN PURPOSE

Under the Visual Merchandising Executive supervision, you will be monitoring, following up and implementing, the windows animation and all points linked to visual merchandising. The points of sales are in Africa and GCC markets. Your work will aim for increasing sales, profitability, strategic objectives.

THE VISUAL MERCHANDISING COORDINATOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Maximizing the performance of all commercial points of sales in Africa and GCC markets through Visual Merchandising
  • Implementing the Cartier International Visual Merchandising guidelines in all commercial points of sales in the Africa and GCC markets: ordering, distributing, installing & maintaining
  • Ensuring Visual Merchandising consistency across the network is up to International Cartier standards while reflecting each boutique singularity
  • Maintaining the POSM across the network

Visual Merchandising:

  • Assist in the overall implementation of the Visual Merchandising undertaken in all points of sale for the network with timely execution (display materials, seasonal campaigns, visual replacements…)
  • Assist in supervising all Visual Merchandising within the sales network as per done to the International Cartier standards and aligned with brand and image
  • Ensure ordering and dispatching schedules are in line with the product launches/thematic and in line with POS budget
  • On ground support for installation of product launches, seasonal animations and generic display material in the sales network with a close follow-up and reporting across the market
  • Provide seamless communication between all stakeholders involved in installation schedule plans; i.e. permit preparations, administrative support & logistics
  • Help on reporting all points of sale VM within the market to ensure implementation is consistent with Cartier standards

Commercial Visibility:

  • Create and communicate the annual visibility plan for the boutiques and POS
  • Ensure all visibility plans are implemented as per the individual requirements in accordance with Cartier standards
  • Be a referent of the retail and watch specialists' network, being responsible for the diffusion of all relevant information and guidelines to stakeholders
  • Assist with set up and establishment of new points of sale within the network

Management of Points of Sale Material (POSM):

  • Responsible for tracking the POS material required for the full sales network including logistics, distribution, etc.
  • Support in the forecast and order all POS material for the market including the annual POS material replenishment and special launch animation/decoration requirements
  • Maintain budget files and alignment as set within the annual A&P budget
  • Development and maintenance of a POS material database kept of each point of sale - including the type of boutique, display cabinets, photos of each of the displays, and POS material on display and in storage
  • Regular review of POS material held in sales network & warehouse and coordination of culling material no longer required
  • PR Events/Exhibitions/Special Decoration
  • Provide hands-on assistance and management in the installation, running, and dismantling of event productions, exhibitions, and special decoration installations
  • Assists in the organization and implementation of all Visual merchandising for local events, local exhibitions and Boutique/point of sale openings, etc.

Reporting:

  • Conduct Visual Merchandising reports for the full network following regular monitoring/ surveying of boutiques visits
  • Providing International Visual Merchandising with regular reports and images of seasonal launches in the regional network

JOB PROFILE

Education:
Education as a Visual Merchandiser (alternatively >2 years of experience as VM)

Required experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Visual Merchandiser for Luxury Brand
  • Displays a clear understanding of the luxury jewellery and watch industry and the Middle East retail and wholesale distribution channels

Technical skills / abilities:

  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Project management skills essential
  • Digital expertise/interest is a plus

Language skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • Arabic and French are an advantage
