About the role:
As a Safety Data Intelligence Specialist, you will be responsible for undertaking advanced analysis of the safety data for the Group Safety department. This activity involves using a range of analytical techniques such as statistical analysis, data modeling, root cause analysis, prototyping decision support tools, and providing meaningful insights into the safety data to the senior management and business users.Additional responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong business acumen within the Group safety’s analytical scope, especially in the areas of proactive and predictive analysis.
- Develop and maintain a strong understating of the Flight safety work processes in order to correctly gauge cause and consequence relationship in the data, and be able to provide accurate insights.
- Design and maintain the safety dashboard combining the power of Flight Data, occurrence data, and Line observation data
- Perform ad-hoc analysis for Group safety and other operational areas within the business data ownership scope.
- Provide input when required to the Flight safety systems development projects from the data flow requirements perspective.
- Ensure full awareness of work health and safety requirements and exceptions in order to minimize health and safety risk for self and colleagues.

Qualifications
About you:
- An ideal candidate will have a minimum of relevant College or University Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of job-related experience.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Expert in using Business Intelligence with an experience in Tableau, Qlik Sense, QlikView, Power BI, and Excel Macro, etc.
- Expert In making presentations for High-level stakeholders’’’ meetings
- Command of English language
- Must have a working knowledge of aviation and aircraft systems.
Preferred
Experience in Airline operations as a Flight Crew or experience as an engineer with a safety background including analysis of occurrence data and flight data.Experience in programming with C++, C#, Python.
