Job Description
Responsible for collating, processing and presenting data on, and able to run/lead, projects of low to medium complexity. Responsible for: the processing of relevant data (including error analyses and corrections); the compilation and presentation of data deliverables; the appropriate QC of data and deliverables; and the production of data deliverables. Involved in/responsible for all aspects of the project related to relevant data acquisition (completeness and quality) and delivery. Perform administrative duties that include being responsible for maintaining accurate and complete survey logs.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and quality control of field data and coordination with the field
- Process raw field data to project deliverables/drawings with ACAD Civil 3D
- Data management, storage, filing, reporting
- Adjustment of survey observations
- CADD production for survey projects, e.g. plan / profile alignments sheets, etc.
- Quality assurance of survey data.
- Maintenance of survey databases
- Maintenance of survey data on computers within the department and archiving of data.
- Maintain and update all survey software as needed.
Qualifications/ Skills/ experience required
- Degree (or equivalent) in land survey or topographical science related field of study.
- Experience in data processing for land and topographical surveys.
- Extensive experience required in AutoCAD Civil 3D as a minimum.
- Experience in data processing techniques, e.g. Leica LGO, CADD packages and familiarity with routines to transform between the two data sets.
- Oil and gas experience preferred
- Minimum 5 years related land surveying experience
- Office-based data processing of field survey observations (GPS, Levelling, etc.)
- Very good English/Arabic language.
