Job Description
The Business Process Analyst will focus on operational change initiatives and process improvement within the EMEA Operations team. The individual will work with multiple internal stakeholders within Operations to support on discovery, documentation, process improvement and implementation of change.
Core Responsibilities
- Ensures thorough understanding of operational change requirements and opportunities, ‘As-Is’ and ‘To-Be’ processes & procedures, contributing to the successful delivery of projects
- Considers key performance indicators to enable and support effective measurement of business processes helping to drive operational performance
- Provide and support the implementation of Operations change/process improvement initiatives by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; work closely with these stakeholders to ensure alignment and development of efficient and effective processes and performance measures in line with strategic business objectives
- Participate and Support in discovery workshops to facilitate analysis of current systems and processes and gather business requirements. Perform review of current non-standard processes / reporting and the impact on platform design and to-be processes
- Design and Document process flows for the business solutions in scope for Operations projects
- Provide project level analysis – producing and reviewing required business analysis documentation (functional requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams/process maps, future state proposals, UAT plan, QA plan).
Skills required
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- Excellent capability to gather, evaluate and understand business process & requirements
- Underlying Competencies: Decision making, Analytical skills, Problem solving, Trustworthiness, Facilitation and negotiation, Teamwork, Leadership, Presentation skills, quick learner, Task oriented, Creativity, solution design, Systems thinking
- Excellent documentation skills
- Ability to present complex information to stakeholders across all levels
- Experience with process mapping and associated software e.g. Microsoft Visio
- CBAP or similar qualification
- Willing to travel extensively where applicable
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Commercial awareness
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational
- Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Experience with Power BI or similar BI/data visualisation software
- Microsoft Access and/or SQL experience
