JOB DESCRIPTION
Procurement Officer vacancy in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for collecting the demands from store/Engineering and prepare the purchase orders accordingly.
- The candidate shall be in charge of the purchase of equipment for the organization, contact suppliers and research offers and quotations prepare comparative statement.
- Accountable for ensuring Material Test Reports (MTR’s) upon each delivery of project Material.
- To provide assistance to the organization members related with all procurement matters.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Should be a graduate in any discipline with 5 years of experience or MBA (Marketing) with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
- Good negotiation, research and convincing power.
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality and delivery requirements.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office application suite and experience with Microsoft Dynamix ERP a strong plus.
- Should have good knowledge of purchasing department management systems and procedures.
- Ability to handle the department responsibilities independently.
