Our client is a global network of Engineering Service Solutions providing maintainence for power generation, desalination and water pumping plants. They are looking to hire a talented Accountant Payable for 3-month temporary contract.
Candidates with own visa or family sponsorship will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for accounts payable duties such invoices, registration, matching, posting, supplier payment runs, supplier queries etc.
- Perform accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions
- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
- Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit;
- Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Management or any relevant education
- At least 3 to 5 years experience in accounts payable in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of general accounting procedures
- Knowledgeable of relevant accounting software; Sage 50 would be desirable
- Proficient in data entry and management
