Role Summary:
IT Help Desk Support provides technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. The IT Help Desk is responsible for answering queries and addressing system and user issues in a timely and professional manner.
Position Location: Dubai, UAE
Reporting to: Head of Division
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond quickly to incoming requests relate to IT issues.
- Install, configure and upgrade computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Monitor and Maintain computer systems and networks.
- Responsible for PC’s, Printers, Servers and related equipment (monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, etc.).
- Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
- Set up new users’ accounts and assist with their technical onboarding.
- Keep inventory of all equipment, software, and license users.
- Repair and request replacement of equipment as necessary.
- Test new technology.
- Thorough awareness of computer systems, PC repair, and network management.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Resourcefulness and quick-thinking nature to troubleshoot new and critical technical issues as they arise.
- Ability deploy, configure, and support operating systems on desktop and mobile.
- Understanding and appreciation for information security within systems and user devices.
- Strong drive to provide excellent support and experience, with an awareness of prioritization of tasks, budget, and time.
- Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control.
