Job Purpose:
The primary role of this position is to maximize sales planned volume, revenue, minimize stales, achievement of distribution targets, implementation of agreed merchandising standards, collection of accounts receivable and maintaining high levels of customer service and profit targets for assigned customers.

The Key Account Executive is required to complete a daily debriefing with his pre-sellers / Merchandiser.

Execute Customer Development Agreements (CDA’s) and World class standards merchandising materials and in store programs.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Implement plan activities for customers, which will help category growth and superiority versus competition.
  • Implementing launch and promotion plans. Follow-up that team is implementing the execution standards as per SSFL guidelines.
  • Assign targets to team members in line with company targets (volume, shelf space etc.) and following up performance vs. targets.
  • Performs store checks, work with and route control on weekly basis with field team and provide feedback to them on their performance and development areas.
  • Maintain all FLSMP documents in office for monthly/quarterly checks.
  • Conduct all the administrative transactions (stock reports, collection, daily sales invoicing cycle etc.)
  • Abide by all OT Procedures & Policies.
  • Follow Stock & Order tool upon doing PO's and make sure no overstocking / dumping happens.
  • Do monthly reconciliation with the Stores & Collect all dues on time by following Collection Process.
  • Build excellent relation with Section Managers & Stores Managers.
  • Achieve monthly stores Targets as per agreed weekly phasing.
  • Create opportunities to develop Customer Business to higher level.
  • Confirm Statement of Accounts with customers on quarterly basis.
  • Report against any competitive activity / initiative / new products, etc..
  • Make sure all weekly activities are implemented on time as per communicated plan.
  • Make sure all CDA & rented visibilities are implemented inside Stores.
  • Send all agreed updates on Time.
  • Make sure Merchandisers are visiting stores as per agreed journey plan.
  • Implement the annual action plan to achieve target.
Manage OT accounts within:
  • Shelf space.
  • Product locations and exposure.
  • Execution of all promotional activities.
  • Coordinate and execute mega events in major OT accounts.
  • Manage and execute product promotions within given time as per strategic OT plan.
  • Respond to market change and implement changes accordingly.
  • Execute CDA’s with customer on time and as per AOP and Financial Guidelines.
  • Agree with Customers for listing all new SKU’s in Customers systems on time & as per CDA term.
  • Make sure the Account Plan is being implemented in Full & in Time.
  • Execute the agreed POP/ sales driver initiatives and targets.
  • Execute the Activity Calendar.
  • Regular Visits to the Stores as per agreed schedule.
  • Motivate the field sale force to ensure appropriate local activity is delivered within the allocated accounts.
  • Lead any reconciliations problems at Customer Head Office level if required.
  • Undertake store checks alongside account visits to ensure Execution 100% implemented as per CDA & Plans.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Commercial awareness - strong knowledge of what's important/needed by Sales to develop Selling tools and stories and delivering Gold standard execution.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Strong Negotiation and Relationship building skills and ability to influence - Ability to influence at all levels and build relationship with key customers.
  • Demonstrated functional expertise with FMCG Company for a minimum of 2-4 years of sales field experience.
  • Very Good English and Arabic language skills.
  • No travel restrictions.
  • Results driven (results based on specific efficiency and productivity KPIs within predefined time frames).
  • Developing and Supporting the Team (Actively improves others’ skills, cooperate effectively, diplomatic conflict handler).
