Applications are invited for the position of Key Account Sales ExecutiveBusiness Unit: Emirates Cuisine Solutions - EKFC Joint Venture
Job Purpose:
The jobholder will be responsible for developing the ESC product portfolio within the Food Service industry to increase revenue within the commercial division and to increase sales by finding new sales channels, generating new accounts, whilst maintaining and managing existing clients.Key Accountabilities
- Organize sales visits with potential customers to understand what customer needs are, recommend new business propositions and develop relationships by maintaining customer objectives to achieve profitable sales growth.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, proposals, contracts, quotations, and other documents related to sales activities.
- Establish good networking by attending trade exhibitions, conferences, meetings, and events organized by the company, to be in good understanding of market needs and trends.
- Provide ongoing support to clients by communicating and conducting visits to ensure relationships are maintained.
- Gather information on competitors, trends, and pricing in the market, conduct market research, evaluate findings, prepare reports and make recommendations.
- Manage the day-to-day sales activities to achieve event sales targets through profitable business relationships.
- Develop new and fresh strategies in accordance with budget guidelines to respond to high-volume client concerns
Essential Requirements and Competencies
Education Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relevant fieldWork Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience in FMCG foodservice industry, with good connections in marketSkills:
- Goal-driven and possess strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- A high degree of self-motivation and ambition.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High presentation skills.
- Independent critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
- Local market experience and knowledge in food service with a good network of operators and contacts in the HORECA and distribution channel to help grow the number of dealing customers.
- Effective at listening, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by clients and co-workers
- Attention to detail, ability to plan, multitask and work to strict time constraints
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to take on responsibility and ability to delegate tasks efficiently
- Actively practice and promote good time management and organisation skills
