Job Description
My client is a fintech providing investment opportunities for retail and institutional clients.They are based near Oxford Street and are working 3/2 office/home.
They are new to the UK market but have been established in Europe for many years.
The opportunity is to come in as their first compliance officer to cover all generalist compliance responsibilities. There is a view that once the business becomes authorised, at the end of this year, you will be in line to take on the Head of Compliance title.
They have had compliance consultants prepare the business for their authorisation but there will still be a need for this compliance person to deal with a green field compliance framework and assist it grow and develop.
The managing director has a strong compliance culture and need a likeminded entrepreneurial compliance officer to come on board and help the business grow.
Ideally you will have some understanding of retail compliance lending regulations and have a broad generalist compliance background. Maybe you have worked at another fintech and helped them grow by implementing policies and procedures and you are now looking for a new company to assist in their growth.
