Sales Training Manager plans, organizes and leads sales training within the assigned country or country group across all Business Units in GCC. The role focuses on the effective implementation and follow-up of Regionally defined sales training and development strategy as well as operational training plans.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Weight %
Development and delivery of training curriculum based on business requirements and organizational goals 50%
Deliver and co-ordinate new starter and secondary/follow-up ITCs with content to include:- Selling skills
- Disease area training and product knowledge
- Principles and practice of key account management
- Market relevant Healthcare knowledge (including market access, formulary and pharmacy process)
- Collaborate with HR and CM’s on recruitment, general training, and development programs for High Potentials.
- Provide Medical and Marketing ITC for Regulatory and Quality Managers.
- Provide coaching and performance management training for Line Managers
- Align with the international Business Excellence Team on training programs that can be delivered at the Affiliate level
- Identify employee learning needs and build tailored learning journeys leveraging AbbVie’s & AA multiple learning resources
Field Force Coaching and Development 30%
Provide coaching and/or development for the field force, including PS, AM, and Sales Managers (post-assessment):- Customer Facing Skills
- Presentation and Negotiation Skills
- Problem Solving
- Analytics – understanding of information sources (VEEVA, IMS, etc.) and manipulation of data and decision making
- Account Management
- Leadership
- Ensure Selling Skills intervention as needed and support/provide an evaluation of PS to BUM’s and Sales Managers.
Regional Promotional Strategy Execution 20%
- Execute training programs to support the marketing campaign roll-outs through the year.
- Support follow-up on the implementation of sales materials through field visits throughout the year.
- Provide essential feedback to Regional marketing and local Product Manager on the effective use of materials by the sales force.
- Participate in market research tests.
- Partner with HR on developmental courses for Leaders, Talents, and Key Talents.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years same role in a multinational organization
- Significant experience in the Pharmaceutical industry or FMCG, including a proven track record in healthcare sales and management
- Experience in training/coaching
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and fluency in English
- Good understanding of healthcare environment in the country
