Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead Milaha’s strategy development and business planning process: aligning requirements, steps and timelines with leadership, communicating requirements to BU/Department Heads and project managing activities
- Develop top-down view of relevant macroeconomic and sector-specific trends to inform top-down strategic direction setting
- Lead the development of the group’s consolidated business plan including strategy development at both group and business unit levels defining the strategic directions and requirement business plan initiatives to implement the direction and financials ensuring business plan initiatives and budgets align
- Work with business units to understand market dynamics and develop business plans to achieve the company’s objectives and to maximise potential of each business
- Lead development of business & product cases: developing the scope, approach and resourcing to evaluate the commercial potential on opportunities, and developing the plan to implement/capture that potential once approved
- Project manage major business plan initiatives, particularly those which require multi-function/business unit coordination and/or advanced commercial/analytical capabilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to one or more Milaha pillars, with specialised, deep knowledge of the relevant sector
- Lead the commercial due diligence activities along with Milaha’s Corporate Finance and associated Business Units (M&A-related)
- Develop management and integration plans for leadership review and manage the administration around approvals and implementation setup
- Provide recommendations on new subordinate hires and ensure the availability of all resources required to perform assigned tasks and activities
- Supervise subordinate staff, assign work activities, monitor performance and review results
- Act as a coach to subordinates, identify their training and career development, recommend training courses and follow-up on their personnel records such as timesheets, discipline, vacations, leaves and absenteeism
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education & Professional Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree
Masters of Business Administration, or equivalent degree (Essential)
Professional Experience:
- 6 - 8 years of experience in a strategy, commercial and/or project management capacity (must have demonstrated experience at an engagement manager / case team leader role)
5+ years of Management Consulting/Advisory experience is a must
Geographic Experience:
Middle East experience desirable
Computer Skills:
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Language Skills:
Fluency in English (Essential) and Arabic (Desirable)
Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge:
- Demonstrated strategy development and commercial analysis experience at a senior level (working at C-level topics)
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing digital transformations (helping businesses identify opportunities/threats and developing new digital operating models to deliver longer term business growth and sustainability)
- Demonstrated experience with M&A transactions
- Demonstrated ability to frame/analyse unstructured problems
- Superb relationship building skills. Ability to effectively influence key decision makers at all levels of management. Collaborative mind-set when engaging cross-functional teams and outside stakeholders
- Excellent planning and organizational skills. Ability to work independently in a results-oriented, project-driven team environment, while prioritizing projects and delivering quality results within tight timeframes
- Familiarity with maritime and logistics industries and international supply chains is required
